Disassociate Host From vCenter Server
There maybe many reasons to perform such an action, but mine was due to not removing ESXi 6.0 hosts from a Lab vCenter before destroying it. In this case you will receive the following warning when connecting directly to the ESXi host:
The following simple steps will disassociate the host from the deleted vCenter:
It is worth noting that you may also simply add the ESXi hosts to a new vCenter, without the requirement to Disassociate.
