VCF 4.1 introduced a new account ‘admin@local’ which is configured as part of a greenfield installation of VCF. If you have upgraded to VCF 4.1 then you will encounter the following warning post 4.1 upgrade:
The following steps detail how to create the ‘admin@local’ user:
The ‘admin@local’ account is leveraged during password rotation and in a scenario where you need to perform direct API calls to the SDDC manager (in a situation for example where the management vCenter is down).
