Dell EMC Reference KB 483591

Note:MAC address replication is enabled by default on RP4VM 5.X. The following steps are specific for RP4VM 4.3 as per KB 483591.

Production VM MAC:RP4VM MAC Replication0A
Replica VM MAC:
RP4VM MAC Replication0B1

As per the Reference KB above these are the required steps to enable MAC replication on systems running RP4VM 4.3. These steps will need to be executed on all vRPAs in a RP4VM System:
Begin by ssh to the vRPA using boxmgmt creds and chose [2]setup:

[8] Advanced options:
RP4VM MAC Replication2
[4] Run Script:
RP4VM MAC Replication3
Enter the script provided in the Dell EMC Reference KB 483591
RP4VM MAC Replication3a
Return to the Main Menu and reboot the vRPA:
RP4VM MAC Replication4RP4VM MAC Replication5
