This is the 5th in a series of posts covering VCF 5.2.1 On VxRail 8.0.310. The following post provides an example walkthrough covering the process of licensing day-2 a deployed  vLCM-based & isolated SSO VI Workload Domain using the SDDC UI for Update Licenses method leveraging the new License Later feature.

The introduction of License Later Mode in VCF 5.1.1 is particularly beneficial for customers evaluating VMware Cloud Foundation (60 day evaluation period). This mode allows organizations to fully deploy VMware Cloud Foundation components even without immediately entering license information. This flexibility enables customers to explore and test the platform’s capabilities before committing to a full license deployment, enhancing the evaluation process.
